The Kabbalah Centre teaches many different ideas and concepts that may be very innovative in today's world. The irony is that all the teachings of Rav Berg and the Kabbalah Centre are based upon the teachings and guidance of the ancient Jewish publications that comprise the Kabbalah. These works in include the Zohar, Sefer haYetzirah, which is "The Book of the Creation", and others that are all written in Hebrew and Aramaic. These works date back thousands of years, and until the recent generation or two, they have been open to those who are able to read and understand Hebrew and Aramaic. The Kabbalah Center and other such institutions have opened the closed doors of the Kabbalah to the masses who are unable to study the Kabbalah – whether due to the language barrier, or due to a lack of the basic concepts required to understand the Kabbalah. Rav Berg, his two sons Michael and Yehuda, and his wife Karen Berg are the powerhouses behind the tremendous sessions and lectures that the Kabbalah Centre offers.
