Kabbalah First Steps

Great Excitement!
I am about to be starting my first steps into the world of Kabbalah. This is something that I have focused on for quite a while, and after seeing some stuff online, primarily the site of the Kabbalah Center, I decided that the time had come to discover more about the Kabbalah, properly.

I think that it may be due to the Kabbalah Centre that I became interested in Kabbalah at first, as the thought of a center such as the Kabbalah Center whose ideals are to improve people appealed to me. Rav Berg and the Berg family have something good going here.

Ancient History through the Kabbalah

What many people don't realize, even those who may be planning to attend classes at the Kabbalah Center with Rav Berg or any of the other teachers, is that the Kabbalah dates back hundreds of years. The primary - both in chronology and in importance - texts of the Kabbalah date back by around 1800 years!

The Zohar is the primary text, an it was apparently written sometime before 200 A.D.! The amazing thing is that there are people like Rav Berg and Karen Berg and others who understand the Kabbalah texts, and they even explain and teach them to others who lack the skills and knowlege they have.

The Kabbalah Centre's many courses offer us a chance to gain a glimpse of the texts that underlie the teachings of the Kabbalah Center.
